SOS-Credit

Overview

SOS-Credit 1 If you have no more credit in your account and you are not able to recharge it for some reasons, and you are badly needing to make a call, SOS-Credit can be the right solution for this situation.
A prepaid subscriber can apply for a loan (credit) to extend his account balance with 2€ * for immediate use by sending a USSD command : *133#, the subscriber's account balance will be substracted on first recharge in order to pay back the loan.

The SOS-Credit platform will decide whether the subscriber can get a credit or not, this depends on some rules such as:

  • The subscriber should be prepaid.
  • The subscriber has been active on net for more than 3 months.
  • The subscriber has recharged his account at least 5 times with minimum 5€ in the past 3 months.
  • The balance should not be sufficient to make an on net call or send a SMS.
  • The subscriber has no current impaid loans.

The above rules can be tuned to fit the telecom operator commercial strategies, Tritux provides its engineering services and experience to help defining the most performant rules targeting more ARPU and less customer churn.

(*): Each credit is defined by the parameters below:

  • The amount
  • The validity period
  • Usage (sms, mms, on net/off net calls ...)

Architecture

SOS Credit architecture

Tritux engineers role is to make the integration work of the platform with the telecom operator intelligent network and its USSD & SMS gateways through dedicated APIs (c.f. Architecture).
The platform is relying on a columnar database to provide subriber behaviour analytics such as:

  • Call/SMS/MMS/Data performance
  • Recharges/Refills and balance change
  • Sim activation and swap
  • Paid and impaid credits/loans
  • ...

These reports are mainly used to help SOS-Credit platform decide on each credit request.
